Head Chef Shiraz (2024 Vintage)

The Ciel Head Chef Shiraz has been sourced from old Shiraz vines from Marananga, a small sub region within the Barossa Valley. The Head Chef has been carefully refined using a mix of New French and American oak to give balance, texture and flavour. 

The fruit is basket pressed and then naturally fermented using Indigenous yeast and is hand plunged 3 times daily for 10 days. It is then placed in new French Oak and American Oak and barrel fermented for 15 months maturation.

This latest vintage shows elegant, lush fruit with streamlined tannins that offers a velvety layered mouth feel with integrated notes of oak on the palette.
